What is Squillamorph?
Squillamorph is a challenging action-platformer set in a mysterious mechanical world. Pursued by hordes of brutal enemies, you must use your parasitic ability to 'infest' and take control of them. Fight back, survive, and you might just discover your purpose. Find more information about the game on the About page.
Please consider getting Squillamorph on Steam and leaving a review. It is in Early Access and still very early in development but the more feedback I get now, the more enjoyable the final game will be!

A Little Update5/8/2019 Hello everyone! As I said in the last post, there wouldn't be much if any content for a post today because I was away last week. I've done my best but I only have a few small things to talk about. Shark SpritesI've finally got around to altering the appearance of the Flop Sharks. I want each shark variant to have a slightly different design to match their attributes. So far, I've altered the small shark's sprites. I may still change them but they are now slightly different to the normal shark. The small shark is faster but weaker than the others, so I've made the fins more curved and narrowed its head very slightly. I haven't had time to do the same for the tank shark but I intend to get it done this week. The WorldI've also briefly worked on the world design; roughing out the levels I haven't yet and changing some of the region names, which I'm still not set on. I'm not going to show you the whole thing but the image above shows levels that I've mostly shown. This is how I plan/experiment with regions and levels. I won't say exactly how many levels there are but I will say that this image makes up a piece of the first part of the game. At the moment, I'm planning to split the game up into acts to tell the game's story. So far, I haven't discussed the story much for a few reasons. One is that I don't want to spoil too much so I can leave lots for players to discover. Another is that the story isn't something players have to follow or pay much attention to. I want to leave most things up to player imagination, but I might hide some lore secrets in levels for those who want to dig deeper!
